Frequently Asked Questions
It cannot really be described as painful, but you can feel some discomfort. A numbing cream is used in order to reduce the pain, so it is completely bearable. Some people don’t feel anything at all and they even fall asleep during the treatment.
The procedure lasts 2-3 hours, including consultations. Consultations are vital in order to decide on the eyebrows shape and style, and to choose the right pigment shade. I will pre-draw your eyebrows and make adjustments until you are completely satisfied. The microblading itself lasts for about 1 hour.
After the microblading treatment, you will be given detailed instructions on how to treat your freshly microbladed eyebrows until they heal. The most important rules that you need to remember are:
• Don’t get them wet, therefore, avoid sweating and swimming and washing your face.
• Don’t touch your brows. During the healing period, your brows might start scabbing, and people are usually tempted to peel the scabs, thus ruining the pigment. You need to let your brows heal properly, so don’t pick them.
• Don’t wear any makeup. Makeup is allowed only after 10-14 days because your brows are still a fresh wound which can get infected.
• Don’t do house chores, don’t sleep on your face and no cosmetic treatments and facials during the aftercare period.
• After the treatment, you will get an aftercare kit that is included in the price. Please use only the products from the kit during the healing period.
To reduce chances of this happening, I always do a pre-draw and adjust it the way you want them to be. You will get the exact same brows. Bear in mind that your eyebrows might be a little bit too dark after the treatment, then they might lose pigment during the healing period. It is normal and part of the healing.
Also, there is a touch up that is mandatory, and it is done 6-8 weeks after the first treatment. It will correct everything you don’t like about your microbladed brows. So, expect to see real results only after the first touch up.
The first one is mandatory and it is done 6-8 weeks after the first treatment. Other touch ups are there to prolong the durability of your microblading effects. Depending on your skin type and lifestyle, you might need to book touch ups once every 6 months or once a year.
If you have oily skin and your brows fade faster, you will need to book frequent touch ups.

Microblading gives best results on dry and normal skin. The hair strokes are more crisp and the effects last longer. If you have oily skin, I can offer you other brow treatment that is more suitable for your skin type. Contact me to book a consultation.
