In the theoretical part, you will learn everything you need to know about the skin and skin conditions. It will also cover reflection of pigments, post-treatment flow depending on the type of the skin and factors that can influence the pigment durability. Microblading is very similar to a tattoo and since the blade goes under the skin, it is an invasive procedure and must not be performed by everybody.
You need to understand in which situation microblading cannot be performed, how to prepare your customers for the treatment, and what the aftercare looks like. You will also be taught everything about hygiene and how to keep your microblading salon and equipment clean and safe.
Practical part is the most important part of the the training and involves learning how to use microblading tools and practicing on artificial skin as well as real models. You will be instructed how to draw an eyebrow shape, how to determine eyebrow symmetry using the PhiApp and how to hold the microblading blade and create perfect hairstrokes.
You will get the chance to practice on live models, under supervision. It is an invaluable experience because you will get the feeling of working on real skin. Most importantly, you will practice how much pressure to use and how to move while making microblading strokes.
The training is just a beginning step and the introduction to the microblading technique, because the skill of eyebrow drawing is built during the long period of practice. Therefore, general goal during this initial/basic training is to teach you how to practice.
To obtain a certificate it is necessary to master the following skills:
• Drawing the shape and strokes on a skin simulation (latex or a linoleum)
• Drawing the shape and measuring the symmetry on a live model
• Complete work on a live model
Your work is not graded, you need to show that you understand microblading and know how to perform it well in order to pass.
A premium microblading kit for practising is included in the price. The kit is enough for at least 60 clients and it includes:
• 4 pigments
• 1 Golden ratio
• 1 Tweezer
• 1 Scissors
• 10 Disposable pens with blades
